Δίδυμος Αλεξανδρεύς, Εἰς Ψαλμούς, Ψαλμος Θ’ Source: Migne PG 39.1192c | He has prepared His throne for judgement, and He shall judge the orb of the earth fairly, He shall judge the people rightly. 1 He gives warning of these things so that we might turn from wickedness and impiety and seek the virtues. For he who is reasonable, if he believes in these things, shall he not fear that he might fall into a just and righteous hand for judgement of his vile deeds and wicked thoughts? For when He judges, the judgement will be inescapable. Didymus the Blind, Commentary on The Psalms, from Psalm 9 1 Ps 9.8 |
