The Right Hand Of The Lord

The right hand of the Lord has exalted me, and His right hand has made virtue. I shall not die but live and I shall tell the works of the Lord. Admonishing, He admonished me, the Lord, and He did not give me over to death. 1

For that persecutions are not without their profit, but they may lead to the advance and proving of those afflicted, he teaches with these words: 'Admonishing, He admonished me, the Lord.' For now I know my weakness, and I am not ignorant that my virtue is given to me by God. And he is taught how the right hand of the Lord may work, which has humbled enemies.
