Clean Garments

As a prophetic type rather was the vision of Joshua the son of Jozadak 1 when he was clothed with filthy garments, which then were stripped off and he was invested with clean ones. 2 And this was done that we know and learn that as we have borne the terrestial image so we should bear the celestial image, 3 for Christ with his own virtues can utterly overwhelm the filth of men, whence it is necessary to pray to be relieved and liberated from tardy perception, lest we die in vile and disgraceful state.
