Hic iacet extinctus primo sub limine vitae angusto multum dilectus tempore pupus. nec reor hunc lacrimis fas esse urgere beatum, corporis exutus vinclis qui gaudet in astris. nec mala terreni sensit contagia sensus. menses namque nouem postquam super addidit anno conplevitq. dies vitae sex, iuit ad astra. Here lies one dead on the threshold of life, A little boy who gave great joy in a brief time. I do not think it is right to exhort him to blessedness with tears, Freed from the chains of the body he rejoices among the stars. No evil contagion of earth he knows.
