'Tempus belli et tempus pacis' Quandiu in praesenti saeculo sumus, tempus est belli: cum autem migraverimus de hoc saeculo, pacis tempus adveniet. 'A time of war and a time of peace.'1 While we are in the present world, it is a time of war. When we leave this world, there comes the time of peace. Peaceful is the place of God, and our city of Jerusalem, which is named peace chosen. 2 None therefore should think himself secure now.
