But what did you go out to see? A man in soft vestments? Behold, they who wear soft vestments are found in the the palaces of kings. 1 This signifies the covering of the surrounding body by which the soul is endowed, which luxury and lust soften. But they who are garbed in softness are found in the the palaces of kings. And among kings means among the fallen angels, for these are the powers of the world and the rulers of it.
