Gratis acceptistis, gratis date. Hoc est quartum de modo proponendi verbum: et intelligitur tripliciter, gratis communicando, grate proponendo, et in sermone gratioso. Freely you have received, freely give. 1 This is the fourth part concerning the matter of preaching, and it is understood in a threefold manner: freely to share, to preach with love, and to do so with gracious speech. First is liberality, second is charity, and third is love.
