Et accesserunt ad eum turbæ multæ, habentes secum mutos, cæcos, claudos, debiles, et alios multos: et projecerunt eos ad pedes ejus, et curavit eos...

Those presented to the Lord mute are those who neither praise nor make profession of faith; blind, those who do not understand, even if they do obey their superiors; deaf, those who do not obey, even if they do understand; lame, those who do not keep the commandments.
