The angel of the Lord He sets in a camp around those who fear Him and delivers them. 1 This is understood as being spoken to the poor man, the one who fears God. For which reason he who fears is yet in the rank of a servant, but he who is perfected by love has arisen to the dignity of a son. Whence the servant is named a poor man, for he has nothing of his own; the son, however, is rich because he is the inheritor of the goods of the father.
